The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes. The role includes setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, and quality checks of machines to achieve production targets.
Set up machines before starting production and ensure correct settings.
Operate CNC/VMC/Assembly machines as per standard operating procedures (SOP).
Monitor machine operations and identify any deviations or issues.
Conduct regular quality checks on produced parts using measuring instruments (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauge, etc.).
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the working area.
Perform minor maintenance and report major breakdowns to maintenance team.
Follow safety standards, PPE usage, and workplace guidelines at all times.
Achieve daily production targets and maintain required documentation.
Assist in machine changeover and tooling adjustments.
Qualification: 10th / 12th / ITI (Fitter, Turner, Machinist, etc.)
Experience: Fresher or 1–2 years in manufacturing industry.
Basic knowledge of production machines and measuring instruments.
Must be physically fit and comfortable working in shifts.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Good attention to detail and production accuracy.
