Job Summary:

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery used in the manufacturing process. They ensure machines run efficiently, safely, and according to production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up machines according to specifications and production requirements

Operate machinery to manufacture products efficiently and accurately

Monitor machine operations for any malfunctions or irregularities

Perform routine checks and maintenance to ensure machine functionality

Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications

Report issues or equipment breakdowns to the maintenance team or supervisor

Keep work area clean and organized

Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines

Maintain production logs and records

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar role

Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of production machinery

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods

Willingness to work in shifts and overtime if required

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing

Familiarity with CNC, injection molding, or other specific machines

Basic computer skills for data entry and machine monitoring
