Machine Operator

Job Summary:

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery used in the manufacturing process. They ensure machines run efficiently, safely, and according to production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up machines according to specifications and production requirements

• Operate machinery to manufacture products efficiently and accurately

• Monitor machine operations for any malfunctions or irregularities

• Perform routine checks and maintenance to ensure machine functionality

• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications

• Report issues or equipment breakdowns to the maintenance team or supervisor

• Keep work area clean and organized

• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines

• Maintain production logs and records

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar role

• Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of production machinery

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods

• Willingness to work in shifts and overtime if required

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing

• Familiarity with CNC, injection molding, or other specific machines (if applicable)

• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine monitoring
