Position: Multiboring Machine Operator (3-Head Manual)

Job Summary

The Multiboring Machine Operator is responsible for operating the 3-head manual multiboring machine to drill accurate holes in panels used for modular office furniture such as workstations, cabinets, pedestals, and partitions. The operator must ensure precision, productivity, and quality as per production drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Operate 3-head manual multiboring machine for panel drilling operations.
Read and understand production drawings and hole patterns.
Set drilling heads as per panel size and hardware requirement.
Ensure correct drilling for:
- Hinges
- Minifix fittings
- Dowels
- Shelf supports
- Connectors
Maintain hole accuracy and alignment as per QC standards.
Perform trial checks before bulk production.
Inspect finished panels for defects.
Maintain machine cleanliness and lubrication.
Follow safety procedures during machine operation.
Coordinate with CNC, edge banding, and assembly teams.

Skills Required

Knowledge of modular furniture hardware drilling standards.
Ability to read cutting lists and technical drawings.
Understanding of panel materials like:
- Particle board
- MDF
- HDHMR
- Plywood
Machine setup knowledge for spacing adjustments.
Basic troubleshooting ability.

Experience Required

Minimum 2–5 years experience in modular furniture manufacturing.
Experience operating manual multiboring machine (3-head) preferred.

Education Qualification

ITI / Technical training preferred
OR
Minimum 10th / 12th pass with relevant machine experience

Performance Expectations

Maintain drilling accuracy within tolerance limits.
Achieve daily production targets.
Reduce rejection and rework.
Follow safety and maintenance standards.
