Hiring of Computer Embroidery Operator in Gurugram Branch London based High Fashion Garments Export House. The Computer Embroidery Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining computerized embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered designs on garments and other fabric items. This role involves working with design software, setting up the machine, ensuring proper thread tension, and performing quality control checks during the embroidery process.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Setup & Operation:
Set up and operate computerized embroidery machines (e.g., Unix & Aura).
Load embroidery designs from software and adjust settings (e.g., stitch type, color changes, and fabric tension) to meet production standards.
Ensure all machines are well-maintained and troubleshoot basic machine issues as required.
Design File Management:
Collaborate with designers to understand embroidery patterns and techniques.
Prepare and transfer design files from embroidery software (e.g., Wilcom, Digitrac, or similar) to the machine.
Modify designs on the computer to match fabric type, size, and customer specifications.
Production Monitoring & Quality Control:
Monitor embroidery machines during operation to ensure the design is being executed as intended.
Inspect finished products for thread breakage, alignment issues, or other defects and make adjustments as needed.
Perform regular maintenance checks and replace needles, threads, or bobbins as needed.
Material Handling:
Load appropriate fabric or garments onto machines, ensuring correct positioning for embroidery.
Ensure the correct type of embroidery thread is used for each design and ensure proper tension settings.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and changing parts.
Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for more complex repairs.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow company safety policies and industry standards for operating machines and handling materials.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is in safe working condition.
Production Reporting:
