Durable Fastener Pvt. Ltd. — manufacturer of ClassOne® and DE branded screws and fasteners — is expanding its in-house production capacity. We’re seeking skilled Screw Header and Threader Machine Operators with practical experience in cold forging and thread rolling machines.

The role demands technical precision, mechanical understanding, and consistent output quality to maintain the company’s manufacturing standards for OEM and export markets.

• Base: Rajkot Factory Unit

• Timing: 8:30 AM – 8:30 PM (as per production schedule)

• Type: On-site, Full-time (No WFH or part-time)

• Commitment: Minimum 2-year service commitment (legal agreement)

SALARY & INCENTIVES:

• Fixed Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹50,000/month +Incentive linked to KPI (depending on experience, skill level, and machine type handled)

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Machine Operation

Operate and monitor cold heading (Header)• and thread rolling (Threader) machines.

• Set and adjust machine parameters (feed, punch, die alignment, cutter depth).

• Load wire coil, ensure continuous feeding, and maintain correct lubrication.

2. Production Quality & Accuracy

• Measure and verify screw dimensions (length, head, thread pitch, diameter).

• Conduct regular checks using micrometer, vernier, thread gauge, and ring gauge.

• Segregate defective pieces and report abnormalities to the supervisor.

3. Machine Maintenance & Safety

• Perform routine cleaning, oiling, and preventive maintenance.

• Replace worn-out punches, dies, and rollers with precision.

• Maintain cleanliness and follow all safety standards.

4. Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with tool room, QA, and dispatch• for smooth workflow.

• Record daily production output, downtime, and rejection rates.

• Report machine breakdowns or unusual vibrations immediately.

5. Tool & Die Handling

• Assist in die changeover for new product sizes.

• Ensure proper storage, tagging, and handling of tools and dies.

• Support R&D trials for new screw designs or prototypes.

REQUIREMENTS & PROFILE:

• Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Fitter / Turner preferred

• Experience: 2–5 years in fastener, hardware, or automotive part manufacturing

• Machine Knowledge:

• Cold Header, Bolt Maker, and Thread Rolling Machines (National, Sacma, Nakashimada, Indian make, etc.)

• Tooling, Die Setup, Lubrication Systems, Wire Coil Handling

• Technical Understanding:

• Product sizes: Drywall Screws, M3–M10, STS, SDS, Machine Screws, and Custom Screws

• Fastener standards: BIS / IS / DIN / ISO

• Skills:

• Mechanical accuracy, attention to detail, discipline, and teamwork

• Ability to read production drawings and size charts

• Basic computer or manual record-keeping
