Role Overview
As a Mechanical Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for the structural assembly and mechanical integration of our EPODs. You will ensure that heavy frames and components are assembled with high precision, ensuring the structural integrity and high-quality finish required for large-scale international projects.
Key Responsibilities
● Assemble metal frames, panels, and heavy-duty enclosures according to technical drawings.
● Install and secure heavy electrical equipment (transformers, cooling systems, and switchboards) within the modular structure.
● Execute drilling, tapping, bolting, and sealing operations, ensuring all parts fit perfectly and meet technical tolerances.
● Safely operate cranes, forklifts, or other lifting equipment to position large components within the modular structure.
● Perform measurements and alignment checks using precision tools (calipers, laser levels, torque wrenches) to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
● Comply and promote Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, ensuring a clean and hazard free environment.
Required Skills and Experience
● Technical certification or previous experience in Mechanical Assembly, Metalworking, Industrial Maintenance, or similar.
● Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
● Experience with manual and power tools (impact wrenches, grinders, torque tools).
● Experience in operating cranes, forklifts, or other lifting equipment is highly valued.
● A functional level of English is highly valued.
● High attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
