Machine Operator

• Operation & Monitoring:

  Operate and monitor treatment equipment such as pumps, filters, aerators, chemical feeders, clarifiers, and sludge digesters to manage flow rates and process parameters. 

• Maintenance & Repair:

  Conduct routine inspections and perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on various plant systems and equipment to ensure operational readiness and longevity. 

• Quality Control:

  Collect samples and perform laboratory tests to analyze water quality, oxygen levels, and other metrics, adjusting treatment processes to meet regulatory standards. 

• Record-Keeping:

  Maintain accurate logs and records of plant operations, equipment maintenance, test results, and daily activities, often by entering data into a computer database. 

• Safety & Compliance:

  Adhere strictly to environmental regulations and safety protocols, responding to emergencies, and ensuring the facility's safe and compliant operation.
