Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to handle daily operation and maintenance of woodworking machinery in our carpentry workshop. The candidate will ensure precision cutting, edging, and drilling operations while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the following machines:

  • Panel Saw – for cutting panels as per specifications

  • Cold Press – for lamination and veneer pressing

  • Edge Banding Machine (Automatic & Manual) – for edge finishing

  • Multi Boring Machine – for drilling and fitting operations

  • Dust Collectors – for maintaining a clean working environment

  • Compressor – for pneumatic tools and machines

• Perform daily checks, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs.

• Ensure proper machine calibration, safety guards, and cleanliness.

• Follow production schedules and cutting lists accurately.

• Maintain dimensional accuracy, minimize material wastage, and ensure high-quality output.

• Record production data, downtime, and maintenance activities.

• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping in the work area.

Requirements:

• 0.5 to 5 years of experience operating woodworking or panel processing machinery.

• Knowledge of MDF, HDF, plywood, and laminate materials.

• Ability to read cutting lists and basic workshop drawings.

• Understanding of mechanical and pneumatic systems.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
