Job Description

A Roofing Machine Operator sets up, operates, and maintains machinery to produce, cut, or apply roofing materials, such as asphalt felt, shingles, or metal panels. They monitor production, adjust machine speed and material flow, inspect finished products for quality, and perform routine maintenance to ensure, efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operation: Operates machinery to coat, form, or cut roofing materials, including roll forming or coating equipment.
Machine Setup & Adjustment: Sets up machines, adjusts tension, and calibrates controls to meet product specifications.
Quality Control: Inspects finished products and monitors gauges to ensure proper coating application, thickness, or, dimensions.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Performs routine maintenance, cleans machinery, and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions to minimize, downtime.
Safety Compliance: Adheres to strict safety protocols and maintains a clean, organized work area.
