Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. •Machine Setup & Operation•

• - Do complete machine setup independently as per drawing & process sheet

• - Load job, set work offset, tool offset, wear offset without supervisor help

• 2. •Program Editing & Prove-out•

• - Edit existing programs at machine for tool changes, speed-feed optimization

• - Take first-off, measure, correct program, and get QC clearance

• 3. •Precision Inspection•

• - Check components using micrometer, vernier, bore gauge, height gauge

• - Maintain tolerance up to ±0.01 mm and record in inspection sheet

• 4. •Tooling & Process•

• - Select correct inserts, holders, drills as per material & drawing

• - Optimize cycle time by adjusting speed, feed, depth of cut

• 5. •Daily Machine Care•

• - Check oil level, coolant, air pressure before shift start

• - Clean machine, chip tray, and report any abnormal sound/breakdown immediately

• 6. •Production & Quality•

• - Run machine to meet required quantity with zero rejection

• - Follow safety rules, use PPE, and keep area clean

• 7. •New Job Support•

• - Support new part prove-out with planning/engineer
