Job Description

1. Job Purpose

The Machine Operator Cum Carpenter is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of woodworking machinery, production of furniture components as per approved drawings and specifications, maintenance of machines and work areas, and ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and operational procedures established by the Company.

The employee shall ensure the safety of himself, fellow employees, company property, machinery, materials, and finished products at all times.

2. Scope of Responsibilities

The employee shall be responsible for:

Operating woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
Manufacturing furniture components as per production requirements.
Performing carpentry-related work.
Ensuring quality standards are maintained.
Maintaining machines and production equipment.
Maintaining workplace cleanliness and safety.
Assisting in assembly, fitting, and installation activities.
Following company systems, software, and reporting requirements.
Supporting production targets and business requirements.
