Machine Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Commissioning: Setting up new hydraulic and pneumatic equipment per specs.

• Maintenance: Performing routine checks, lubrication, and preventive servicing.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing faults in systems, including pumps, motors, cylinders, and lines.

• Repair: Overhauling, rebuilding, and repairing components like valves, winches, and engines.

• Testing: Verifying performance, pressure, and flow, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

• Fabrication: Assembling, building, and sometimes welding hydraulic/pneumatic lines.

• Documentation: Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repairs.

• Safety: Adhering strictly to safety protocols, using PPE, and managing risks from fluids. 

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

• Mechanical aptitude, understanding of fluid power principles.

• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical charts.

• Proficiency with tools for diagnostics, repair, and testing.

• Knowledge of diesel/electric power units (depending on role).

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
