Reporting to: Sr. Maintenance Engineer
Location: Naci Mumbai
Experience: 2–4 years (Manufacturing / Production industry preferred)
The Maintenance / Stores Supervisor will be responsible for managing day-to-day maintenance activities and assisting in raw material stock inventory. The role involves ensuring equipment reliability through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work, while also maintaining accurate maintenance and inventory records.
Maintenance & Repairs
Assist in minor electrical fittings and installation related to machinery and plant equipment.
Install and repair lighting systems, electrical outlets, switches, and circuit breakers.
Replace faulty electrical and electronic components, fuses, motors, or wiring as needed.
Perform mechanical repairs such as tightening bolts, nuts, and servicing motors or controllers.
Support the Sr. Maintenance Engineer in maintaining overall plant machinery efficiency.
Preventive Maintenance
Develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment.
Conduct regular inspections, lubrication, and routine maintenance to reduce downtime.
Troubleshooting
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in machines and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.
Inventory & Documentation
Maintain and update soft copies of maintenance records, schedules, and equipment history.
Coordinate with the Maintenance Engineer to ensure adequate stock of spare parts and tools.
Assist in raw material inventory management and coordinate with the Stores team for stock updates.
Coordination & Collaboration
Work closely with Operations, Production, and Stores departments to address maintenance-related concerns.
Ensure smooth communication between maintenance and production teams to minimize disruptions.
Diploma / ITI in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2–4 years of experience in maintenance supervision within a manufacturing setup.
Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
Proficiency in using maintenance tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wire strippers, conduit benders).
Good record-keeping and computer skills (Excel, MS Office).
Strong coordination, problem-solving, and team management skills.
