About the Role
We are looking for an experienced FFS (Form-Fill-Seal) Machine Maintenance Technician / Operator to join our tea bag manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with FFS packaging machines, be capable of troubleshooting and carrying out routine repairs and maintenance, and should also be comfortable operating the machines whenever maintenance work is not required.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out regular preventive maintenance and timely repairs of FFS machines.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical operational issues.
Handle machine changeovers, adjustments and setting as required for different products and pack sizes.
Monitor machine performance and ensure consistent production output..
Maintain basic records of machine maintenance, breakdowns and repairs.
When maintenance work is not required, actively work as a machine operator and assist with production activities.
Support the production team during high-volume orders and urgent production requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
ITI/Diploma in Fitter / Mechanical / Electrical
10th pass – can be the absolute minimum if the candidate has strong hands-on FFS machine experience
Hands-on experience with FFS / Form-Fill-Seal packaging machines is compulsory.
Experience with tea bag, sachet or similar packaging machinery will be highly preferred.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and machine-setting skills.
Basic understanding of electrical systems.
Ability to independently diagnose and resolve common machine breakdowns.
Experience handling multiple types/models of FFS machines will be an advantage.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who is technically skilled and hands-on, rather than someone who only operates the machine. The candidate should be capable of taking responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting and smooth functioning of our FFS machines, while also contributing to production as an operator whenever required.
Salary: ₹30000-45000 per month, depending on experience and technical skillsLocation: Turbhe MIDCWorking Hours: 9am-6pm
