Job Description

Zixom Plast is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our production team. The candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, welding, and assembling metal components to build machine frames, molds, and industrial structures. This role is critical in supporting our thermoforming and vacuum forming operations, ensuring precision, durability, and safety in every project.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD blueprints.
Cut, bend, and shape metals (steel, aluminum, copper) using fabrication tools.
Perform welding operations (MIG, Arc) to securely join metal components.
Assemble fabricated parts into machinery, frames, and structures.
Responsible for erection and installation of machine structures as per design specifications.
Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and durability.
Maintain fabrication tools and equipment regularly.
Follow workplace safety protocols and use PPE at all times.

Skills & Qualifications

If any ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Fabrication trade, Otherwise only Knowledge.
Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, Arc).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Skilled in precision measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Minimum 1–2 years of fabrication experience preferred.
Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
