Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced Lathe Operator to perform precision machining tasks. The candidate will operate a lathe machine to shape metal components as per engineering drawings and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate conventional lathe machines for machining metal parts

• Set up machine tools, workpieces, chucks, jigs, and cutting tools

• Read & interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and measurements

• Monitor lathe operations and adjust feeds, speeds, and tool positions

• Inspect finished products using vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges, etc.

• Maintain accuracy, surface finish, and dimensional tolerance

• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the workspace safe & clean

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of lathe machine operations

• Ability to read mechanical drawings & measurement tools

• Good understanding of machining processes

• Attention to detail & precision work

• Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues
