Operate and set up lathe machines for turning, facing, drilling, boring, threading, grooving, and other machining operations.
Select and install appropriate cutting tools, chucks, and fixtures.
Set machine speeds, feeds, and cutting depths according to the material and job requirements.
Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
Inspect components during and after machining and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and tool replacement.
Identify machining defects and make necessary adjustments to machine settings.
Maintain production records and follow production schedules.
Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Keep the work area, machines, and tools clean and organized.
