Operate conventional Lathe machines efficiently and safely
Perform all lathe operations including Facing, Turning, Threading, Drilling, Boring, Taper Turning, and Jaw Offsetting
Select appropriate cutting tools and machine parameters (speed, feed, gear selection) as per material
Understand and interpret basic engineering drawings
Ensure dimensional accuracy as per drawing specifications
Use standard measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, etc.
Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety standards

Hands-on experience in Lathe machine operation
Knowledge of tool selection for different materials (MS, SS, EN materials, etc.)
Basic knowledge of quality inspection and measurement techniques
Ability to work independently
