We are looking for an experienced Conventional Lathe Machine Operator to join our manufacturing unit in Indore.
Job Responsibilities:
• Operate conventional centre lathe machine independently.
• Perform turning, facing, boring, grooving and other machining operations.
• Manufacture PTFE gasket/envelope components as per required dimensions.
• Read and understand basic engineering drawings.
• Set jobs, tools and cutting parameters.
• Check dimensions using Vernier, micrometer and other measuring instruments.
• Maintain accuracy, surface finish and quality of finished components.
• Maintain and operate the machine safely.
Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a conventional lathe operator.
• Experience in PTFE/plastic machining will be preferred.
• ITI Machinist qualification is preferred but not compulsory.
• Should be able to operate the machine independently.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments and basic drawing reading is required.
Machine/Job Details:
• Centre Lathe Machine
• Approx. 400–450 mm swing
• Approx. 1000 mm between centres
• Maximum job diameter: 300 mm
• Job length: 600 mm+
Salary: ₹20,000–₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and skill.
Work: Full-time, Day Shift
Working Days: 6 days per week
Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh
Immediate joining preferred.
