About the Role:

JWL Kovis India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking Diploma Apprentices to join its Machine Shop. This

position offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience in

CNC operations, machining of casting components, and working in a state-of-the-art

manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor CNC turning and milling machines.

• Load and unload casting components safely and efficiently.

• Assist with machine setup and tool changes.

• Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers,

Micrometers, and Gauges.

• Ensure the work area remains clean, organized, and safe.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and accurately record production

data.

• Support routine maintenance of machines and equipment.

• Work collaboratively with the team to meet production goals.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Tool & Die, or Mechatronics Engineering.

• Open to freshers and recent graduates.

• Strong interest in machine shop operations.

• Willingness to learn and thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and machining processes.

• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and

Height Gauges.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and tolerances.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and reporting.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Knowledge of CNC programming using G and M codes.

• Prior exposure to casting or metalworking processes.
