KEY RESPONSIBILITIES-

Inspection of incoming materials (raw materials, bought-out parts, components)
Verifying supplier quality against specifications and drawings
Conducting tests and measurements using tools like vernier callipers, micrometres, gauges, etc.
Maintaining inspection reports and records
Handling rejection or non-conforming materials and coordinating with suppliers
Supplier quality improvement and audits
Ensuring compliance with quality standards (ISO, customer requirements)

SKILLS REQUIRED-
- Knowledge of quality tools (7 QC tools, root cause analysis)
- Understanding of engineering drawings & GD&T
- Experience in inspection instruments
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of ISO standards / quality systems
