IOT Fullstack Long Description Role- IOT Applications- Experience - 1-3 Year Notice Period - Immediate-30 Days Location - Noida/Pune/Bengaluru/Chennai/Mumbai Job Description The IoT Applications Engineer (Grade 4A) will be responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting IoT-based applications integrated with MES and shop floor systems. The role focuses on application development, device integration, data acquisition, and basic analytics to enable smart manufacturing and connected operations. This position requires close collaboration with senior engineers, architects, and manufacturing stakeholders. Key Responsibilities IoT Application Development & Support • Develop and enhance IoT applications for Industrial IoT (IIoT) use cases such as machine monitoring, OEE, energy monitoring, and asset tracking. • Implement data ingestion pipelines from IoT devices, PLCs, sensors, and gateways into IoT platforms. • Configure and customize dashboards, reports, and alerts for shop floor and MES users. • Perform unit testing, basic integration testing, and support UAT activities. MES & Industrial Integration • Integrate IoT applications with MES, SCADA, ERP, and other manufacturing systems. • Support connectivity using industrial protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, REST APIs). • Assist in deployment and configuration of edge devices and IoT gateways. Data Handling & Monitoring • Handle time series data storage and retrieval for IoT applications. • Support basic data analytics, visualization, and anomaly detection use cases. • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, data flow, and device communication. Collaboration & Documentation • Work closely with solution architects, senior engineers, and functional consultants. • Prepare technical documentation including application flows, configuration guides, and deployment notes. • Follow defined coding standards, security guidelines, and DevOps practices. Mandatory Skills Technical Skills • Basic to intermediate experience with IoT application development. • Hands-on exposure to IoT platforms (Azure IoT, AWS IoT, ThingWorx, Siemens MindSphere, or similar). • Programming knowledge in Python / Java / Node.js / .NET (any one). • Understanding of industrial communication protocols: MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus, REST APIs. • Knowledge of MES concepts and manufacturing processes. • Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases and time-series data. • Basic understanding of cloud services, containers, or edge computing concepts. Tools & Technologies (Any exposure) • IoT dashboards & visualization tools • Linux basics • Git / version control • CI/CD basics (Azure DevOps, GitHub, etc.) Soft Skills • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Ability to learn new technologies quickly • Good written and verbal communication skills • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to work in cross-functional teams • Customer centric approach Area(s) of responsibility
