Inventory management: Oversee the accuracy of incoming and outgoing lab-grown or natural diamond stock and update records in the inventory management system (ERP or POS).Stock control: Monitor stock levels in real-time, conduct periodic physical inventory counts, and reconcile any discrepancies.Logistics and transfers: Manage stock transfers between different locations, if applicable, ensuring all movements are recorded.Replenishment: Work with purchasing and sales teams to ensure sufficient stock is available to meet demand.Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly stock valuation reports and other inventory-related reports for management.Coordination: Liaise with production, sales, and other relevant teams to ensure a smooth workflow and timely delivery.Diamond handling: Segregate, bag, and label diamonds according to job sheets, ensuring they are handled with care.Quality assurance: Inspect diamonds for any surface defects or inconsistencies and report any issues, such as shortages or mismatches in quantity or quality.Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed.Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices.Liaising and negotiating with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases.Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS).Analyzing and reviewing supply chain data to identify and resolve issues.Generating purchase and pricing reports, supply chain analysis, and inventory management systems.Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor.Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records.
