Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Buffing and Cutting Technician to support the fabrication of high-precision stainless steel biofermenters. The technician will be responsible for cutting, grinding, and buffing metal components to meet design and quality specifications, ensuring smooth surfaces and preparing parts for welding and assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate cutting tools (plasma cutter, angle grinder, etc.) to shape metal components as per blueprints.

Perform buffing and polishing of stainless steel surfaces to achieve required finish and cleanliness.

Inspect parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met.

Maintain and clean equipment regularly to ensure safety and performance.

Collaborate with welders and fabricators to ensure seamless production workflow.

Requirements:

Proven experience in metal cutting, grinding, and buffing (preferably with stainless steel).

Familiarity with fabrication tools and safety practices.

Attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings.

Physical ability to work in a fabrication environment.
