Graduate Engineer Trainee Purpose of Position A Graduate Engineer supports engineering, operations, maintenance, and project teams by applying basic mechanical engineering principles to real‑world industrial problems, under the guidance of senior engineers. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical / Metallurgy Engineer with a minimum of 0 to 1 years' who will get self trained and trained by engineer in O&G, Steel plant equipment in inspection field like static equipment and piping. The role focuses on learning, execution, and technical development, with increasing responsibility over time. Eager to learn new things and take challenges. The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy. Ø Major Responsibilities Assist in design, analysis, and review of mechanical systems and equipment Assist in inspection history, operation parameters of mechanical systems and equipment Support in study of below and prepare the templates Engineering drawings Specifications Datasheets Calculation sheets Assist in material selection Filling of data loaders Participate in shutdowns, inspections, or maintenance activities, if required Observe and learn inspection techniques (VT, UT, PT, etc.) Follow applicable codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, IS, etc.) Adhere to HSE rules and safe work practices Support preparation of inspection reports and compliance documentation Participate in toolbox talks and safety observations Typical Work Areas (Depending on Industry) Static equipment (tanks, pressure vessels, heat exchangers) Piping systems Structural supports Inspection & maintenance activities Core Technical Skills (Expected at Graduate Level) Fundamentals Strength of Materials Thermodynamics Fluid Mechanics Heat Transfer Manufacturing Processes Engineering Drawing & GD&T Ø Qualification &Technical Knowledge B.E / B.Tech Mechanical / Metallurgy Minimum 0 to 1 years of proven experience in structural design, with a focus on solar and wind structures, and industrial structures. Strong understanding of topography, hydrology, and soil mechanics. Experience in reviewing and interpreting geotechnical reports. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience: 0 - 1 Years of experienc AutoCAD / Drafting tools MS Excel (engineering calculations) Any exposure to: SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor / CATIA/ ANSYS / Abaqus (basic exposure is sufficient) Experience Level Entry Level
