Floor Incharge

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Production Management

   • Supervise all production activities on the shop floor.

   • Ensure that daily production targets are achieved as per plan.

   • Allocate work to operators, workers, and helpers efficiently.

2. Quality Control

   • Monitor product quality during each stage of manufacturing.

   • Coordinate with the QC (Quality Control) team to identify and resolve defects.

   • Maintain proper quality standards and ensure rework or rejection handling.

3. Workforce Supervision

   • Manage attendance, discipline, and performance of floor staff.

   • Train and guide new workers and ensure safety practices are followed.

   • Motivate and coordinate with workers for smooth workflow.

4. Material & Inventory Management

   • Check availability of raw materials, tools, and consumables for daily production.

   • Report shortages to the store or production manager in advance.

   • Prevent wastage and ensure optimal material usage.

5. Coordination & Reporting

   • Maintain coordination between departments (QC, Dispatch, Maintenance, etc.).

   • Submit daily production and manpower reports to management.

   • Report any machine breakdowns or delays immediately.

6. Process Improvement

   • Identify bottlenecks in production and suggest improvements.

   • Implement lean practices and efficient floor layout when required.

7. Safety & Cleanliness

   • Ensure all safety rules are followed on the floor.

   • Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the workspace. Skills Required:

     • Strong leadership and communication skills

     • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery

     • Ability to handle labor/workforce

     • Basic computer and reporting skills

     • Time management and problem-solving attitude

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 6 months - 3 years of experience.
