Purpose Machines (SPM), hydraulic machines, conveyors and customized industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities
Machine assembly and mechanical fitting as per engineering drawings.
Assembly of machine structures, shafts, bearings, gears, couplings, cylinders and other mechanical components.
Perform accurate alignment, leveling and fitting of machine components.
Hydraulic and pneumatic component installation and connection support.
Use hand tools, power tools, drilling machines and other fitting tools.
Check dimensions and fitment using measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer and measuring tape.
Support machine trial, testing and commissioning.
Identify and rectify mechanical issues during assembly and machine trials.
Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S and safety practices.
Coordinate with Design, Electrical and Production teams for machine completion.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of mechanical fitting and machine assembly.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Knowledge of bearings, shafts, gears, chains, couplings, pneumatic and hydraulic components.
Basic knowledge of fabrication and machining processes.
Good measurement and alignment skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualification & Experience
ITI / Diploma – Fitter or Mechanical Trade preferred.
Experience: 1–5 years in machine building, SPM, industrial machinery or equipment assembly.
Fresh ITI candidates with good practical skills may also be considered.
