Job Title: ACP Fitter (Aluminium Composite Panel)

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience Required: 0 – 2 years (Fresh ITI graduates encouraged to apply)

Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Location: Chennai (Site-based role)

About the Role:

We are seeking motivated and skilled ACP Fitters to join our façade installation team in Chennai. You will be responsible for the installation of Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) on both commercial and residential buildings. Fresh ITI graduates with a willingness to learn are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Panel Installation: Measure, cut, drill, and fix ACP sheets onto steel, aluminium, or masonry structures.

Reading Drawings: Understand fabrication drawings, elevations, and layout plans to identify panel dimensions and fixing points.

Site Preparation:

Mark reference lines, set out levels, and assist in framing adjustments.

Quality & Safety:

Ensure correct alignment, joint gaps, sealant use, and follow company safety protocols and QC checklists.

Tool Handling:

Safely operate angle grinders, jigsaws, rivet guns, drill machines, and other tools.

Material Management: Verify sizes and finishes, report discrepancies, and reduce material wastage.

Coordination:

Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and fellow team members to maintain project timelines.

Housekeeping:

Keep work areas tidy and secure installed panels properly.

Reporting:

Maintain daily records of progress, materials used, and any issues encountered.

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills

Education:

ITI certificate in Fitter, Sheet Metal Worker, Fabrication, or similar trades.

Technical Skills:

Basic knowledge of ACP and façade systems

Ability to read mechanical and architectural drawings

Proficiency in using measuring tapes and performing basic calculations

Safety Awareness:

Familiarity with PPE and standard construction site safety practices.

Nice-to-Have

Experience in glazing, curtain-wall, or similar cladding projects

Valid working-at-heights or boom-lift licence

Knowledge of sealants, gaskets, and waterproofing methods
