Job Title: Maintenance Fitter

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure smooth plant operations and minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.

• Dismantling, repairing, assembling and installation of pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, compressors, conveyors, and other rotating equipment.

• Alignment of motors and pumps.

• Replace bearings, seals, gaskets, and other mechanical components.

• Attend emergency breakdowns and restore equipment at the earliest.

• Maintain daily maintenance logs and records.

• Follow safety procedures and permit-to-work system.

• Coordinate with production and electrical departments during maintenance activities.

• Ensure proper housekeeping in work area.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of mechanical tools and measuring instruments.

• Understanding of mechanical drawings.

• Experience in rotating equipment maintenance.

• Basic knowledge of welding and fabrication (preferred).

• Ability to work in shifts.

Qualification:

• ITI – Fitter (Mandatory)

• Diploma in Mechanical (Preferred)

Experience:

• 2–8 years of experience in plant maintenance / heavy industry / refinery / manufacturing.

Salary Range:

₹20,000 – ₹50,000 per month (Depending on experience)

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 2 - 3 years of experience.
