Fitter

Perform routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance of pumps, compressors,

gearboxes, agitators, valves, and piping systems.

 Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical faults in rotating and static equipment.

 Carry out mechanical installations and alignments during shutdowns or plant expansions.

 Ensure proper lubrication, belt tensioning, alignment, and fitting of mechanical parts.

 Dismantle and reassemble machinery components as per standard procedures and

maintenance schedules.

 Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and parts used.

 Work with engineering and production teams to ensure smooth plant operations.

 Assist in overhauling of critical equipment during plant shutdowns.

 Adhere to standard maintenance practices and follow OEM manuals.

 Comply with hazardous area maintenance protocols and plant safety standards.
