We are looking for a skilled Fitterman to join our team at Playwell Printers. The role involves operating and maintaining Heidelberg 2 Colour SORMZ offset printing machines, ensuring smooth production and maintaining high print quality standards on the production floor.
This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹17500/- per month and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential printing industry.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor Heidelberg 2 Colour SORMZ offset printing machine
Perform machine setup, plate mounting, ink setting and registration adjustment
Ensure consistent print quality and color accuracy
Carry out basic mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting
Maintain production records and machine logs
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
Maintain cleanliness of machine and work area
Follow safety and quality standards during production
Coordinate with the printing, pre-press and finishing teams
Job Requirements
Experience operating Heidelberg offset printing machines
Knowledge of machine maintenance, ink balance and print registration
Ability to identify mechanical issues and perform minor repairs
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Physical stamina and ability to work in a production environment
Ability to follow instructions and work with a team
Preferred Skills
Experience with offset printing operations
Knowledge of machine lubrication and preventive maintenance
Basic understanding of printing materials, inks and paper types
