We are looking for a Fitter to join our team at Mark Maker Engineering Private Limited. The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹20000 - ₹40000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.
Key Responsibilities
Routine & Breakdown Maintenance: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance (PMR) on core pharmaceutical equipment, including:
Manufacturing: RMG (Rapid Mixer Granulator), Fluid Bed Dryers (FBD), Tablet Compression machines, Capsule Fillers, and Liquid Fillers.
Packaging: Blister Packing machines, Strip Packing lines, Cartoners, and Labelers.
Utilities/Sterilization: Autoclaves, Purified Water (PW/WFI) loops, and cleanroom HVAC dampers.
Precision Fitting & Alignment: Disassemble, overhaul, and reassemble high-precision mechanical components such as gearboxes, mechanical seals, pumps, motorized actuators, and rotary valves. Align rotating shafts using dial indicators or laser alignment tools.
Changeovers & Tooling Setup: Assist production teams during product changeovers by setting up, adjusting, and calibrating specialized machine tooling parameters (e.g., sealing pressure, temperature settings, and forming molds) to eliminate material rejection.
Documentation & cGMP Compliance: Complete execution logs, logbooks, and Preventative Maintenance checklists immediately following any intervention. Ensure all mechanical actions align perfectly with standard operating procedures (SOPs) for regulatory audits (e.g., USFDA, MHRA, WHO).
Cleanroom Protocols: Maintain absolute cleanliness and adhere strictly to personal gowning and sanitization guidelines before entering Class A/B/C processing environments. Ensure all maintenance tools are chemically sanitized prior to entering production bays.
Required Technical Skills & Competencies
Pneumatics & Hydraulics: Excellent understanding of pneumatic valves, cylinders, and compressed air systems common in cleanroom automation.
Blueprint Reading: Advanced ability to interpret complex 2D mechanical assembly drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), and layout blueprints.
Precision Measurement: Flawless handling of measuring instruments including micrometers, vernier calipers, and thickness gauges to verify component tolerances down to the micron.
Troubleshooting: Proven ability to rapidly diagnose mechanical faults, severe machine vibrations, or seal leakages during active manufacturing cycles.
