Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Fitter with hands-on experience in Plastic Injection Moulds and Special Purpose Press Tools manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for assembly, fitting, maintenance, and troubleshooting of moulds and press tools while ensuring precision and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Assembly and fitting of Plastic Injection Moulds and Press Tools as per engineering drawings.

✅ Bench fitting, grinding, polishing, and alignment of mould components.

✅ Repair, maintenance, and modification of existing moulds and tools.

✅ Conduct trial fitting and troubleshooting of mould/tool issues.

✅ Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards during assembly.

✅ Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Dial Indicator.

✅ Coordinate with CNC, EDM, Tool Room, and Design departments.

✅ Maintain workplace safety and housekeeping standards.

Requirements:

✔ ITI Fitter / Tool & Die Maker or equivalent qualification.

✔0-3years of experience in Plastic Injection Mould and Press Tool manufacturing.

✔ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

✔ Knowledge of mould components, tool room practices, and precision fitting.

✔ Hands-on experience with fitting, assembly, and maintenance activities.

✔ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills:

🔹 Experience in Hot Runner Moulds and Multi-Cavity Moulds.

🔹 Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical assemblies.

🔹 Understanding of mould trials and corrective actions.
