reads blueprints to lay out, cut, shape, and assemble metal structural parts and mechanical components. They use heavy machinery, precision measuring tools, and welding equipment to build or repair industrial machinery, frames, and pipe systems.

Key Responsibilities :-

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics
Measure, mark, cut, and shape raw metal using saws, shears, and torches
Fit, align, and secure parts using tack welding, bolting, or riveting
Operate shop machinery like drill presses, grinders, and brake presses
Inspect finished components for accuracy against design specifications
Maintain a safe workspace and follow all factory or construction site safety rules
