Job Roles: HVAC / AHU Assembling Fitter

1. Assembly & Fitting

• Assemble AHU (Air Handling Unit) components such as panels, coils, blowers, filters, motors, dampers, etc.

• Fit mechanical parts using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

• Follow assembly drawings and instructions accurately.

2. Mechanical Installation

• Install motors, fans, blower assemblies, and belt-pulley systems.

• Perform alignment of rotating parts (fan & motor).

• Install ducts, brackets, frames, and support structures.

3. Quality & Inspection

• Check dimensions and fitting quality as per standards.

• Ensure tightness, proper sealing, and correct alignment.

• Report defects or mismatches to the supervisor.

4. Material Handling

• Receive and identify parts for each AHU model.

• Ensure proper usage of materials, hardware, fasteners, and consumables.

5. Safety & Cleanliness

• Follow safety procedures during cutting, drilling, and lifting.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

6. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with production engineers and supervisors for daily tasks.

• Meet assembly targets and timelines.

• Update daily work progress.

7. Additional Responsibilities

• Assist in testing the AHU unit after assembly.

• Support service team if required for installation at client sites.

• Learn and follow SOPs for assembly operations.
