Job Description

An Assembly Fitter reads technical drawings and uses tools to assemble mechanical parts into finished products or systems. They ensure that all components fit correctly and function properly.

📋 Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Assemble mechanical parts using hand tools and power tools
Fit and align components to precise tolerances
Drill, cut, file, and shape metal or other materials
Inspect finished assemblies for quality and accuracy
Perform repairs and maintenance on machinery
Test assembled equipment to ensure proper operation
Follow safety standards and workplace procedures
