Education: ITI Turner / Machinist / Fitter or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

## Job Overview

We are looking for a Fresher Turner / Lathe Operator to join our engineering manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for operating lathe machines, shaping and finishing metal components, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

## Key Responsibilities

• Operate conventional or CNC lathe machines for machining metal components.

• Read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications.

• Set machine speed, feed and depth of cut as required.

Measure finished components using •vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges••.

• Perform basic machine cleaning, lubrication and daily maintenance.

• Maintain proper housekeeping and follow all factory safety procedures.

• Learn and improve machining skills under the guidance of senior operators.

## Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of lathe operations and metal cutting.

• Ability to use basic measuring instruments.

• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

• Physically fit and comfortable working on the shop floor.

• Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
