Job Title: Assistant Fitter

Location: Siltara Phase 2, Raipur

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: 2–3 years (Sponge & Iron Industry preferred)

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

About the Role:

We are looking for a Assistant Fitter with hands-on experience in the Sponge & Iron industry. The candidate will assist in the fitting, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and plant machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation and fitting of machinery, pipes, and equipment.

• Support senior fitters in repair and maintenance activities.

• Perform routine checks on mechanical systems to ensure smooth functioning.

• Handle tools and equipment safely under supervision.

• Report defects, breakdowns, or malfunctions to the maintenance team.

• Follow safety protocols while working in the plant environment.

• Ensure proper housekeeping and upkeep of the work area.

Requirements:

• Education: 10th Pass + ITI in Fitter Trade.

• Experience: 2–3 years in Sponge & Iron/Steel Industry.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical fitting and plant maintenance.

• Ability to use hand tools, machines, and measuring instruments.

• Physically fit and willing to work in shifts.
