Job Overview

We are hiring a Fitter to carry out installation, assembly, maintenance, and repair of plant machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical fitting, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out installation, assembly, and fitting of mechanical equipment and machinery.
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines.
Inspect machinery to identify mechanical issues and carry out repairs.
Replace defective or worn-out machine parts as required.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments effectively.
Maintain proper alignment and functioning of mechanical components.
Ensure timely completion of maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
Follow safety procedures and maintain housekeeping in the work area.
Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams for efficient operations.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of mechanical fitting and maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical faults.
Familiarity with pumps, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, and other mechanical components.
