Job Description

Job Title: Fabrication Fitter

Location: As per requirement
Industry: Fabrication / Manufacturing / EPC / Engineering
Experience: 2–5 Years (can be adjusted)
Qualification: ITI Fitter / ITI Welder / Diploma (Mechanical)

Job Responsibilities:

Read and understand fabrication drawings and blueprints
Marking, cutting, fitting, and assembling metal parts as per drawings
Fit-up of structures, frames, tanks, ducts, pipes, and equipment
Use tools like grinders, gas cutting, drilling machine, measuring tools, etc.
Coordinate with welders for proper alignment and joint preparation
Ensure dimensions, levels, and alignment are correct before welding
Do minor grinding, finishing, and rectification work
Follow safety rules and shop/site procedures
Maintain tools and keep work area clean

Required Skills:

Good knowledge of fabrication drawings and symbols
Experience in structural fabrication, piping, or equipment fitting
Ability to use measuring tools (vernier, tape, level, square, etc.)
Basic knowledge of welding processes is an advantage
Physically fit and able to work on shop floor / site
