Job Description
- Involved in cutting of steel as per customer orders either from large blocks or plates
- Preparing of cutting program with the goal of minimizing wastage
- Ensuring that the plates / blocks are cut to dimensions and ensuring that the tolerances as required are maintained.
- Maintaining procedures and systems as laid out by the management
- Maintenance of quality standards
- Responsibility to purchase and manage all consumables and spares (blades, cylinders etc.)
- Maintain detailed updates of all inventory on a real time basis
- Monitor and prepare inspection reports for management and customers
- Document and Manage all customer complaints
