Job Description
SSE Industries is hiring a Shop Floor Supervisor for its fire-fighting equipment manufacturing unit. The candidate will supervise daily production, manage workers, allocate work, monitor quality and safety, coordinate materials, and ensure production targets are achieved on time.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily shop-floor production activities.
Manage and allocate work to workers/operators.
Monitor fabrication, welding, cutting, grinding, assembly and painting/coating work.
Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
Handle manpower, attendance, discipline and productivity.
Coordinate with Store, Quality, Purchase and Maintenance teams.
Monitor raw material and tool utilization.
Maintain daily production and manpower reports.
Ensure safety, PPE and 5S practices on the shop floor.
Identify production issues, defects, wastage and machine breakdowns.
Guide workers and ensure timely completion of production work.
Requirements
Experience: 2–5 years in manufacturing/fabrication/engineering industry.
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Production or related field preferred.
Experience in fire-fighting equipment manufacturing will be an advantage.
Knowledge of fabrication, welding, assembly and shop-floor operations preferred.
Good manpower handling and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
Ability to manage workers and maintain production discipline.
