Job Description

Supervise daily production operations and ensure production is carried out according to the production plan.
Allocate work to machine operators and production workers based on production requirements.
Monitor production output and ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production targets are achieved.
Ensure products are manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate with the Quality Department to minimize defects and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Monitor machine utilization and coordinate with the Maintenance Department for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Ensure availability of raw materials, tools, consumables, and components before starting production.
Maintain production records, shift reports, machine utilization reports, rejection reports, and downtime records.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and efficiency.
Ensure adherence to all safety rules, PPE requirements, and company policies on the shop floor.
Train and guide production operators on work instructions, machine operation, quality requirements, and safety practices.
Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance of production employees.
Coordinate with Planning, Stores, Purchase, Maintenance, and Quality departments for smooth production flow.
Minimize material wastage, scrap, rework, and production losses through continuous monitoring.
Implement and support 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the production area.
Report production status, delays, quality issues, and manpower requirements to the Production Head.
Participate in daily production meetings and suggest process improvements for higher productivity.
