Export Sales Manager – Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute international sales strategies to expand the company’s export business and achieve sales targets.
Identify new overseas markets, distributors, dealers, and business opportunities for company products.
Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and channel partners.
Generate export sales leads through market research, networking, trade fairs, and digital platforms.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and commercial agreements with foreign customers.
Handle end-to-end export sales cycle from inquiry generation to order closure and payment realization.
Coordinate with production, planning, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely execution of export orders.
Monitor customer requirements and ensure product specifications meet international standards and expectations.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer demand, and pricing strategies in global markets.
Prepare sales forecasts, export budgets, and periodic MIS reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with export regulations, international trade laws, and documentation requirements.
Support participation in international exhibitions, trade shows, and business meetings to promote products.
Resolve customer complaints, shipment issues, and service-related concerns promptly.
Track receivables and coordinate with finance for payment follow-ups and credit control.
Drive customer retention and repeat business through excellent service and relationship management.
Lead, train, and monitor the performance of the export sales team.
