Order Management: Manage the complete lifecycle from order receipt to final shipment.
Communication: Serve as the primary contact for international buyers regarding product development, sampling, costing, and order updates.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain export documents, including Proforma Invoices (PI), Purchase Orders (PO), packing lists, and Certificates of Origin (COO).
Production Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments (fabric sourcing, cutting, sewing, finishing) to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
Experience: 2–10 years in export merchandising (often in garments, textiles, or handicrafts).
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for daily interaction with international clients.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel for tracking MIS reports.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of export procedures, Incoterms, and documentation.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, often with a diploma in export-import management.
Competencies: High attention to detail, ability to meet strict deadlines, and strong negotiation skills.
