Export Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a primary liaison with DGFT, Customs, Shipping Lines, Port Authorities, and Export Promotion Councils (EEPC, FIEO, etc.).

• Oversee and ensure compliance with export-import regulations, documentation, and licensing requirements.

• Facilitate smooth clearance of consignments, resolve queries, and manage inspections with relevant authorities.

• Assist in obtaining export incentives, subsidies, and certifications under government schemes.

• Maintain strong working relationships with banks, freight forwarders, and export promotion bodies.

• Guide the management team on changes in trade policies, tariffs, and compliance updates.

• Support in developing strategies to expand international markets through networking and official channels.

Qualifications & Experience

• Retired/experienced professional from DGFT, Customs, EPCs, or corporate export departments preferred.

• Minimum 15–20 years of experience in export-import operations, liaisoning, and government relations.

• In-depth knowledge of EXIM Policy, Customs Act, Shipping/Logistics procedures, and international trade documentation.

• Strong network within relevant authorities, export councils, and trade associations.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
