Electrical Incharge Mining Operations

Job Title: Electrical In-Charge (Mining Operations)

Contract basis of 5 years with ONGC
Compulsory to have Electrical Supervisor Mines License or Certficate

Location: Mehsana

Qualification:

Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance and operations, preferably in the mining industry.

Mandatory Requirements:

Valid Electrical Supervisor (RTC) License for Mines operations as per OMR.

Must possess an Electrical Supervisor's Certificate of Competency covering mining installations as per Rule 115 of the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage all electrical installations and maintenance activities in mining operations.

Ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted functioning of electrical systems and equipment.

Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of mining electrical equipment.

Ensure compliance with CEA regulations, mining safety standards, and statutory requirements.

Monitor electrical safety practices and conduct regular inspections.

Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and site management for timely execution of electrical work.

Maintain documentation related to electrical inspections, maintenance records, permits, and statutory compliance.

Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines.
