Dispatch Executive

• Manage dispatch operations:

  Coordinate and oversee the scheduling and dispatching of drivers and vehicles. 

• Ensure timely delivery:

  Plan efficient routes and monitor shipments to ensure products are delivered accurately and on schedule. 

• Coordinate with teams:

  Act as a liaison between drivers, customers, warehouse staff, and other departments to maintain smooth operations. 

• Handle emergencies and issues:

  Resolve any problems or discrepancies that arise during the dispatch process. 

• Ensure compliance:

  Implement and enforce company policies and safety standards, and ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations. 

• Analyze performance:

  Monitor and analyze dispatch and logistics performance data to identify areas for improvement and suggest optimizations. 

• Manage staff:

  Train, supervise, and conduct performance evaluations for dispatch staff to enhance team performance. 

• Maintain records and reporting:

  Keep accurate records of all dispatch activities and prepare reports for management. 

Required qualifications

• Experience:

  Typically requires 5 or more years of experience in logistics or dispatch management. 

• Leadership skills:

  Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team. 

• Communication skills:

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with drivers, customers, and internal teams. 

• Technical skills:

  Proficiency with dispatch and transportation management software is often required. 

• Education:

  A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is often preferred, though not always mandatory.
