Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cylindrical Grinder Operator to operate cylindrical grinding machines and produce precision components according to drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate cylindrical grinding machines efficiently and safely.

  • Set and operate the machine according to job requirements.

  • Perform external and internal cylindrical grinding operations.

  • Read and understand engineering drawings and job specifications.

  • Maintain required dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish.

  • Select suitable grinding wheels and perform wheel dressing.

  • Check job dimensions using micrometer, vernier, bore gauge, and other measuring instruments.

  • Monitor the grinding process and make necessary machine adjustments.

  • Identify defects and ensure minimum rejection and rework.
